Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God made man, the second Person of the Holy Trinity and the sole Savior of the world.

Jesus Christ is the incarnate Son of God, the second Person of the Blessed Trinity, who became man to reconcile us with God and to be our model of holiness (CCC 422, 456-460). His name 'Jesus' means 'God saves' (CCC 430).

True God and True Man

Jesus became truly man while remaining truly God; He is one Divine Person with two natures, divine and human, joined in the Hypostatic Union (CCC 464, 469).

Frequently Asked Questions
