Racism
Racism is the unjust discrimination based on race, a sin that directly violates the fundamental dignity of the human person created in the image of God.
Racism is the belief in the inherent superiority of one race over others, leading to prejudice and unjust discrimination. The Catholic Church condemns racism as a grave sin against justice and charity, completely incompatible with the recognition of human dignity (CCC 1935).
The Equality of All
Every human being is created in the image and likeness of God and possesses the same rational soul. Furthermore, Christ redeemed all people without exception. Therefore, any form of discrimination based on race, color, or ethnicity is an offense against God's creation and Christ's redemption (CCC 1934–1935).
May the Lord bless you and keep you.
