Vice
A vice is a bad habit acquired by repeated sin in corruption of the soul's inclinations.
Vice is the opposite of virtue; it is a habitual and firm disposition to do evil (CCC 1865-1866). Vices are the result of repeated sinful acts and darken the conscience (CCC 1865).

Vices are often linked to the capital sins: pride, avarice, envy, wrath, lust, gluttony, and sloth or acedia (CCC 1866).
