Son of Man
Son of Man is a title Jesus frequently used for Himself, expressing both His humanity and His role as the apocalyptic Judge.
Jesus used the title 'Son of Man' to identify Himself with humanity and to refer to His future coming in glory to judge the world, as foretold by the prophet Daniel (CCC 440, 661). It is His most frequent self-designation in the Gospels.
