St. Thomas Aquinas

St. Thomas Aquinas was a 13th-century Dominican friar and theologian who synthesized Aristotelian philosophy with Christian revelation.

St. Thomas Aquinas, known as the 'Angelic Doctor,' is perhaps the greatest theologian in the history of the Church. His masterpiece, the Summa Theologiae, provides a systematic and comprehensive explanation of Catholic doctrine using the harmony of faith and reason (CCC 31-35, 159).

Eucharistic Hymns

In addition to his philosophical and theological works, he composed several of the Church's most beautiful Eucharistic hymns, such as the Pange Lingua and Adoro Te Devote (CCC 1376).
