Creation
Creation is the act by which God brought all things into existence out of nothing at the beginning of time.
Creation is the foundation of all God's saving plans and the beginning of the history of salvation (CCC 280). God created the world out of nothing (CCC 296).
The Purpose of Creation
The world was created for the glory of God and to communicate His goodness (CCC 293-294).
