Glorification
Glorification is the final stage of salvation in which the bodies of the righteous are raised and transformed to share in Christ's glory.
Glorification is the ultimate fulfillment of the Christian life when, at the resurrection of the dead, the soul is reunited with a glorified body (CCC 990, 1042). This state allows the person to share fully in the glory of the risen Christ (CCC 1023).
The New Creation
At the end of time, the universe itself will be renewed and transformed (CCC 1042-1043). This glorification is the work of the Holy Spirit (CCC 1107).
