The Pentateuch consists of the first five books of the Bible, containing the Law.
The Pentateuch (Five Containers) refers to Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy (CCC 120, 702). They contain the Decalogue given to Moses (CCC 2056).
